My name is Jeremiah Shores, Marine Corps veteran-owner and founder of JSHORES CONSTRUCTION LLC. I am happily married and have a wonderful blended family and love spending time with my dogs at home. In my spare time I like to vacation to different parts of the country with my wife and have a passion for creating different projects out of wood. I've been providing construction and handyman services for family, friends, and acquaintances since 2008. My Personal Background
My passion to repair things came at an early age when I used to fix things around the house for my Mom using a switch-blade comb that I turned into a makeshift screwdriver. I fondly remember my Mom’s approval and applause at my natural abilities to mend and restore. I believe it was those moments, planted deep inside my core, that lead to my ultimate desire to work in the building industry. I've always had a knack for repairing what's broken. I grew up around different trades and my family frequently took on their own handyman projects, before it was called DIY! It was these personal, hands-on situations where I learned a lot. As a kid, I even had the opportunity to participate in the build of our first home. This experience lit a fire in me and a natural intuition to build, fix and repair was born.
At the start of each job, JSHORES CONSTRUCTION will thoroughly research each customer's project. This is done to check building code requirements and keeping ourselves up to speed on the newest building trends. It’s very important to stay on top of everything, review and consider new materials, design styles and color options because the industry is constantly changing. This is beneficial for the customer so they can see our vision and better understand the final product. We understand that this is an artistic process as it is a building one!
